The YTPullBox Instagram Reels Downloader saves public Instagram Reels and video posts as MP4 files, free and without logging in. It cannot reach private accounts, Stories or Highlights, and for a post with several items it downloads the first one.

How to copy the link
  1. In the Instagram app, open the Reel or post and tap Share (the paper-plane icon).
  2. Tap Copy link, then paste it into the box above.
  3. In a browser, copy the address of the Reel or post from the address bar.
  4. If the copied link contains /share/, open it first and copy the address it lands on.

How it works

  1. 01

    Copy the Reel link

    In the Instagram app, tap Share, then Copy link. In a browser, copy the address of the Reel or post.

  2. 02

    Paste and fetch

    Paste the link into the box and press Fetch Reel. The post must be visible to someone who is not logged in.

  3. 03

    Save the MP4

    Pick a format and the video is prepared on our server and sent to you. Our temporary copy is deleted once it is sent.

What works and what doesn't

These links work:

  • Public Reels (/reel/ links).
  • Public video posts (/p/ links).
  • Older IGTV videos (/tv/ links).

These do not work:

  • Private accounts.
  • Stories and Highlights.
  • Profiles, hashtag pages and the Explore page.
  • Photo-only posts.

For a post with several items, the first item is downloaded.

Why a Reel may fail to download

  • The account is private, or the post was removed.
  • Instagram is limiting requests from our server. Waiting a few minutes usually helps.
  • The post contains photos only, so there is no video to save.
  • Instagram downloads are paused for maintenance. YouTube downloads are not affected.

A Reel belongs to the person who made it. Download only what you have the right to keep or reuse.

Is the Instagram Reels Downloader free?
Yes. The YTPullBox Instagram Reels Downloader is free to use. There is no account to create, no app to install and nothing to pay.
Do I need to log in to Instagram?
No. The tool never asks for an Instagram username, password or cookies. It only reads what Instagram shows to a logged-out visitor.
Can I download Reels from a private account?
No. Private accounts are only visible to approved followers. The tool cannot reach them and shows a clear message instead of a download.
Can I download Instagram Stories or Highlights?
No. Stories and Highlights are not supported. Only public Reels and public video posts can be downloaded.
What happens with a post that has several items?
For a post with several items, we download the first one. If that first item is a photo, you see a message that the post has no video.
